The principle of rotating ball fountain

1. The base (column) of the Feng Shui ball fountain is filled with water, and the water ball is pumped upwards to push the stone ball upwards, causing it to rotate for a long time, symbolizing "rolling wealth".

When water surges, there is a certain pressure and speed. There is a ball socket under the ball. Due to the increase in contact surface, the water pockets in the ball and socket will repeatedly increase the pump's water impulse, thereby providing sufficient power to the pump. A large impulse lifts the feng shui sphere.

3. Water gushes out from below over a large area, and the buoyancy contact surface of the ball is large, so it seems that water can make the ball rotate, as if water is not urgent because its buoyancy is completely pressed on the surface of the ball. The friction between water and a ball is very small, and water is like lubricating oil. Therefore, the rotational resistance of the ball is basically the gravity on the vertical side of the ball. Applying a small force in the horizontal direction can make the ball rotate.

4. The horizontal force comes from the slight inclination of the ball support, so the force on both sides of the feng shui ball becomes uneven, and water also flows out from the high side of the ball.
